9th Day of Christmas

On the 9th day of Christmas……. We donated to Devon FCSS in support of the families that recently lost their home to a fire.

This is the information the Town of Devon has posted regarding the tragic incident:

Early this morning, Devon Fire/Rescue responded to a fire along Athabasca Acres that impacted several Townhouse units in the area. Fortunately, everyone was able to evacuate safely and there were no injuries reported. Arrangements are currently being made to assist the families with temporary housing.

The cause of the fire is under investigation however, it does not appear to be suspicious.

Thank you to the firefighters at Leduc County Fire Services for your support this morning and to our Devon Fire/Rescue team for always doing your part to protect our community.
